HOUSE DO'S AND DON'TS , CANCELATION POLICY, CHECK IN/OUT
Reservation Deposit - To reserve The Baldwin House we require a 50% deposit of the total rental price. Paid with check or credit card.
Please not, If you are paying your deposit with a credit card we only charge your credit card in the event of a cancellation. Final payment for rental is due in full at time of arrival, With check or cash only.
Cancellation policy
Please note that if your reservation is canceled within one month of the scheduled arrival time a 50% non-refundable deposit will be charged.. Should you cancel within one week of your scheduled check in, the entire reservation will become non-refundable and charged to your credit card or check.
You will not be charged for the $500 security deposit in the event of a cancellation
Check in is between 3-9 PM, please contact us if you are unable to arrive during this time frame. Check out is by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. We must ask for a phone call or email, 24 hours prior to checking in with an estimated time of arrival. (Even if it is within the regular check in hours) Thank you for your consideration.
If there is no house guests departing on the day of your arrival, or guests arriving on the day you are departing there is flexibility on arrival and departing times.
Security Deposit
The Baldwin House requires a $500 security deposit. security deposit is held in the event of damages done to furniture, floors, swimming pool, items taken from the Baldwin House. or
for additional cleaning, above and be on, normal wear and tear.

THE FIRST POT OF COFFEE IS SET UP FOR YOU. SIMPLY TURN IT ON.
ANY CONDIMENTS, FOOD, PAPER PRODUCTS AND SPICES ARE FOR YOUR USE.
THERE ARE EXTRA, PILLOWS, BLANKETS, AND SHEETS..
(LOCATED IN THE UPSTAIRS CLOSET)
IF YOU USE THE FUTON IN OFFICE PLEASE USE MATTRESS PAD UNDER THE
SHEETS. LOCATED IN THE UPSTAIRS CLOSET
ALSO PLEASE PULL FUTON AWAY FROM THE WINDOW BEFORE OPENING UP THE
FUTON.
IF THERE IS ANY CHANCE OF CHILDREN WETTING THE BED PLEASE
PLACE PLASTIC BAG UNDER MATTRESS PAD.
IF YOU TURN THE HEAT ON PLEASE CLOSE ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS
IF YOU TURN ON ANY AIR CONDITIONING UNITS IN THE BEDROOMS PLEASE KEEP
BEDROOM DOORS CLOSED AT ALL TIMES. (IF DOORS ARE LEFT OPEN THE AC
WILL NOT COOL THE ROOM)
WHEN SHOWERING, PLEASE MAKE SURE PLASTIC SOWER CURTAIN IS ON THE
INSIDE OF TUB AND AFTER SHOWERING PLEASE WIPE UP ANY WATER ON
FLOORS.
TO OPEN SKYLIGHTS IN DEN, SWITCHES ARE BEHIND THE TELEVISION.
IF IT RAINS OR YOU ARE LEAVING THE HOUSE PLEASE CLOSE ALL SKYLIGHTS.
TO TURN ON LIGHT OVER DINNING TABLE, THE SWITCH IS TO THE RIGHT BESIDE
THE LARGE FERN PLANT.
PLEASE FOLLOW ALL POOL RULES POSTED ON EXIT DOOR
BEFORE DEPARTING
PLEASE PLACE ALL SOILED TOWELS IN BASKETS, PROVIDED IN BEDROOMS, BATHROOMS OR LAUNDRY AREA.
STRIP THE BEDS, AND LEAVE ALL SHEETS AND PILLOW CASES ON TOP OF EACH BED.
PLACE ALL GARBAGE IN BLUE GARBAGE CANS PROVIDED OUTSIDE, ON DRIVEWAY SIDE OF HOUSE
PLACE ALL RECYCLING IN BLACK RECYCLING CANS
WASH ALL DISHES OR FILL DISHWASHER AND START THE WASH CYCLE.
TURN ALL AC UNITS OFF
TURN ALL FANS OFF
CLOSE ALL SKYLIGHTS , AND DOORS (PLEASE DO NOT LOCK DOORS)
GARBAGE & RECYCLING
WHEN GARBAGE CANS IN THE HOUSE ARE FULL, PLEASE PLACE GARBAGE IN
BLUE GARBAGE CANS PROVIDED, ON THE DRIVEWAY SIDE OF THE
HOUSE.
IF YOU FILL ALL GARBAGE CANS BEFORE YOUR STAY HAS ENDED, PLEASE CALL
US AND WE WILL EMPTY THEM FOR YOU.
RECYCLING BINS ARE IN THE DRIVEWAY SIDE, IN MUD ROOM.
PLEASE RECYCLE PAPER, CARDBOARD, GLASS, AND PLASTIC.
OUR AREA DOES NOT RECYCLE, TAKE-OUT CONTAINERS MADE OF PLASTIC OR
FOAM, OR ANY CONTAINER THAT HAS A BIGGER OPENING THEN THE BUTTOM.
IF YOUR STAY INCLUDES A WEDNESDAY, PLEASE PUT GARBAGE CANS OUT ON
THE ROADSIDE, ON LEFT SIDE OF DRIVEWAY, FOR PICKUP.
PICKUP IS EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING, SO BEST TO PUT GARBAGE AND
RECYCLING OUT ON TUESDAY EVENING.
EACH GARBAGE CAN MUST HAVE ONE ORANGE STICKER PER CAN.
STICKERS ARE ON THE MUD ROOM DOOR
GARBAGE PICK UP IS EVERY WED.
RECYCLING IS ONLY PICKED UP EVERY OTHER WEDNESDAY.
DON'TS
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE OR SIT ON ANY FURNITURE OR BEDS WITH
WET/ DAMP CLOTHING OR TOWELS.
DO NOT USE ANY BATH SALTS, OILS OR BUBBLES IN THE MASTER BATHROOM
TUB.
DO NOT EAT ON DEN OR LIVING ROOM FURNITURE. IF FURNITURE IS SOILED YOU
WILL BE CHARGED FOR CLEANING OR DAMAGES.
(WE ARE AWARE OF THE FEW STAINS THAT ARE THERE NOW)
PLEASE DO NOT USE KITCHEN DOOR FOR ENTERING OR EXITING, POOL OR PATIO AREA
DON NOT SMOKE ANY WHERE IN THE HOUSE, SMOKING IS PERMITTED OUTSIDE ONLY
THERE SHELL BE NO YELLING, LOUD MUSIC, OR ANY LOUD NOISES OF ANY KIND, OUTSIDE, AFTER 9:OO PM
UNFORTUNATELY, IN THE PAST WE HAVE HAD ITEMS TAKEN FROM THE HOUSE.
THEREFOR WE HAVE AN ITEMIZED INVENTORY OF EVERYTHING IN THE HOUSE.
AND IF ANYTHING IS MISSING AFTER YOUR DEPARTURE YOU WILL BE CHARGED
FOR ANY ITEMS MISSING.
